The young photographer Sayed Asif Mahmud knows first-hand what it means to work in the exponentially expanding third-world metropolis of Dhaka. Coming from the city’s relatively quiet outskirts, he was confronted with the individualism and pursuit of success that characterises hyper-dynamic urban life.
